PENGSHUI

PENGSHUi (pronounced “peng-shway”) is a London-based trio known for mixing punk, metal, and grime. Formed in 2018, the band consists of Illaman (vocals), Fatty (bass), and Pravy Prav (drums). Their music is characterized by aggressive vocals, heavy basslines, and a fusion of different electronic and rock styles

• Illaman (Dave Penning): A versatile MC with a history working with artists such as Goldie and Flux Pavilion.
• Fatty (Chris Hargreaves): A bassist and founder of the Submotion Orchestra.
• Pravy Prav: A seasoned drummer who has worked with artists like Foreign Beggars and Jorja Smith. 

• They have a significant reputation for their high-energy and chaotic live performances at major festivals, including Download, Glastonbury, and Boomtown.
• Their sound has been compared to a modern-day mix of Rage Against the Machine and The Prodigy, with a fresh, raw energy.
• The band gained recognition early in their career, including a social media endorsement from Enter Shikari frontman Rou Reynolds.
• They released their self-titled debut album in 2020, followed by Destroy Yourself in 2022, and have more albums planned.
• PENGSHUi has collaborated with and remixed tracks for The Prodigy.
